What we collect, where it goes, and how to stop it

This covers the Kaizen Kids website at kaizenkidsva.com and the inquiry form on it. It was last reviewed when the site was built.

The inquiry form is for a parent or guardian. We do not collect information directly from children, and children should not use the form. A parent chooses what to tell us about their child.

When you send an inquiry, the form collects:

• your first and last name;
• your phone number and email address;
• for each child you tell us about: their name, their age, and for after school inquiries the name of their school;
• the location and program you chose, and the page you sent it from.

There is no other form on this site. We do not ask for payment details, and we do not ask for any health, medical, or special category information.

Your inquiry is sent to the customer system Kaizen already uses to handle enquiries and to route them to the right location team. The child details and the school name travel with it so the team can check school pickup without having to ask you twice.

Ticking the consent box lets Kaizen Kids call and text the number you gave us about programs, including automated messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, and we will stop texting that number. Consent is not required to enroll.

When analytics is switched on for the live site, it records page views and a small set of events such as a form being started or sent. Those events carry only a location and program name. No name, phone number, email address, school, or child detail is ever sent to analytics or put in a web address.

Your inquiry stays in KOS, the customer system Kaizen already uses, as a record of your contact with us. No fixed deletion period is set today. You can ask the location team to review, correct, or delete the record.

Ask the location team you contacted, and they will pass it on. You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and ask us to stop contacting you.
