Do we pick up from your child’s school?
Send us the school name. The location team will check the current pickup route and let you know.
Pickup routes can change during the school year, so the team checks the current list when you ask.
Homework
A set place to start, and an adult in the room
Homework starts at a set time. Children unpack their bags, read the task list, and choose the first thing to work on.
What staff do
- Set up the space and keep it quiet enough to work in.
- Get your child unpacked and into the first task.
- Stay in the room while they work.
- Answer a question when a child is stuck on one.
What this is not
- Not tutoring, and not a subject teacher.
- Not a promise that the homework comes home finished.
- Not a check that the answers are right.
- Not a replacement for what the school assigns.
Move and train
Children get on the mats, not just off their chairs
After homework, the group warms up and trains. Children line up, listen, practice a movement, and get corrections from an instructor.
Classes vary by location. Ask the team which martial arts your child would practice and how often the group trains.

One useful skill each week
Children practice one useful skill in short steps throughout the week. On Friday, they use it in a simple activity.

Introduce yourself. Use a clear voice. Face the person you are talking to. Ask for help and answer a question.

Pause, breathe, name the problem, choose a next step, rejoin the group.

Say a clear boundary, move toward safety, find an adult, and report what happened.

Team & Lead
Listen and take turns. Give a simple instruction. Settle a small disagreement. Lead a warm-up.

A short task at the end of the week that makes the skill visible.
The Friday activity gives children a chance to show what they practiced.
The last stretch
Screen free until you get there
The end of the afternoon is games, building things, drawing, and running around. Children who have worked and trained get to choose what they do with the time that is left.

- Do you help with homework or is it tutoring?
- It is a routine, not tutoring. Your child gets the same table, the same stretch of the afternoon, and an adult in the room. Staff do not sign off that the work is finished.
- What if my child finishes their homework early?
- They move on with the rest of the afternoon: training, the week's Independent Kid Lab skill, then a screen-free activity or active play until you arrive.
